A Day with The Fray

As Isaac Slade said at the concert that night, "They showed us what they do for a living, and we showed them what we do"

That's right, Lt Ben Payne brought his high school friend (Joe King) to Columbus - actually The Fray's tour stopped in Starkeville, MS and there was no greater time to give these guys a ride in the T-37.  And that's what we did.

Ben briefing Joe King before the flight on how to wear his Top Gun shades and scarf.

Even as a rock star, you have to look cool to be a pilot!

Drummer Ben Wysocki is totally attentive to the formation brief that is taking place.

Even some young ones showed up to the flight room...wait, is that Jimmy (hired basist) trying to catch a view of Atrice in his flossy aviator glasses???

 Rewind to 1986!

I'm giving my rendition of "How to save a life" but I don't think it's any American Idol...
